What you can see or do
Walks and hikes
Quiet walk at Le Moine de Champlan, hike to the Croix d'Albiez or to the summit of Cass-Massion (2400 m), set off on foot from your accommodation to discover sumptuous landscapes, flora and alpine fauna. Several very accessible walks will allow you to approach the Aiguilles d'Arves.
For those in the know, Albiez-le-Jeune is located on the new Tour des Aiguilles d'Arves circuit.
MTB and gravel
Escape via forest roads and mountain trails and enjoy magnificent landscapes, on a muscular or electrically assisted mountain bike. In summer, rental store 5 km away.
BIKING and CYCLING TOURISM
The 50 shaded bends which lead to Albiez-le-Jeune are well known to cyclists. Then it’s the ascent of the Col du Mollard, then the Col de la Croix de Fer and the Col du Glandon. Other passes will put you to the test: Col de la Madeleine, Col du Télégraphe, Col du Galibier...
RELAXATION
The Léchères leisure area is less than 5 minutes away and offers a small swimming lake, games for children, a fishing pond, a pétanque court and a tennis court.
BATHING
At 6 km, the body of water of the Col du Mollard reflects the Aiguilles d'Arves and the surrounding mountains. Well equipped with water games, supervised swimming, grass beach, snack bar, picnic tables, ideal for relaxing and cooling off on hot days with a view of the Étendard glacier.
ALPINE SKIING
Want to slide? The family resort of Albiez is only 5 km away and offers young and old 35 km of sunny slopes with a splendid panorama.
Do you want more? The Sybelles area , the 4th largest ski area in France with more than 300 km of slopes, is less than 30 minutes away.
SNOWSHOE AND TOURING SKI
On snowshoes, Nordic skiing or ski touring, there is total silence in the forests and on the snow-covered mountain pastures. You will come across numerous animal tracks: hares, deer, chamois or... wolves?
